[Vwpickups] 82 US built Rabbit Pickup Side Molding

I have an 82 Caddy Pickup that I'm in the process of restoring the paint.
I'm looking for replacement side molding trim that is midway up on the 
body sides.  The rubber insert has shrunk with age and left a large gap.
Not sure if this is just an aftermarket trim molding. Do any of you have 
this molding in the recess midway up the body side?

Anyone have a source for this molding?
