You need 12 bolts?  You have a THREE legged (wheeled) Rabbit? 
 
I know, a stupid question on my part because somehow you've already scrounged up four of the correct-length bolts.
 
But a three-wheeled Rabbit would deserve a Yugo award....
 
Actually, I think the bolts you need come on Rabbits and  Jettas and 'Roccos with alloy wheels.  At some point between 1992 and 1997, they put long bolts on all the cars, whether steel or alloy wheels.  Thats where I found my long bolts, on a trashed out 1995 gasser Jetta at the pick-your-own-parts wrecker - I found the bolts laying in the mud, all within a few feet - I was like giddy archeaolgist on the trail of dinosaur bones...
 
Unfortunately, I'm using all 16 bolts on my FOUR wheeled rabbittruck...
