[Vwpickups] Seats for my 1982 Caddy

I found a terrific set of leather seats off of a 2003 VW Jetta but they
just don't seem to retro fit my 1982 Caddy! Any one out there have had
any experience on this subject? Is there a way to use them? Modifications? Since I have worked almost 40 years as an a/c mechanic, I POSSIBLY (stressing the possibly) might be able to make them work but love to get some ideas
