[Vwpickups] Forum courtesy when selling stuff and discussing stuff

I think we had kind of agreed that as a courtesy to other forum members on dialup or slow internet of some means, that the subject line of e-mail to the group contain useful information; such as what your'e selling, where it is, and how much $$.  That saves me from having to open the message to find out its irrelevant (out of my price range) to me.

 

For example:

 

Subject: F/s 81 LX Caddy dsl 5sp daily driver, Edmonton, Canada $2.2k

 

Rather than:

 

Subject: [Vwpickups] Re: Vwpickups Digest

 

And if you're asking a question of the forum, or adding information to the discussion, please make the subject relevant to the information.

 

I know most of my replies to forum discussions probably bent or broke that suggestion, and I'll do better at making my subject line relevant.

 

Thanks all, and I do enjoy the discussion and antics of those of us who drive the most practical and economical vehicles in the world.
