I was born and raised in Clinton, Iowa, a town of about 30,000 people on the banks of the mighty Mississippi. There's really not a whole lot to do there, but it's a good place to call home. My dad used to work construction as an electrician, but now works for Equistar Chemical Company in the inspection department. My mom has been really busy lately taking care of her parents who haven't been doing so well lately. I have a sister, Kara, who is a junior majoring in accounting at Iowa State.
I graduated from Clinton High School in 1994, and then began my life here at Iowa State University. I used to live in the Towers residence halls, but this year I have an apartment in the basement of a house. I spend most of my time now with my fiance, Holly, who I've been dating for what's going on THREE YEARS in December. Wow! We got engaged March 13, 1998, and our wedding date is set for June 5, 1999.
I'm am in my fifth and final year at ISU now, majoring in electrical engineering. It's taking me five years because I took a semester off to co-op for IBM in Rochester, Minnesota. It was a VERY good experience! The pay was great, and I had plenty of free time after work to work on my golf game, which needless to say, didn't get much better. I also want back there to work this past summer.
I don't have much free time anymore, but when I do have some, I like to spend it playing sports such as racquetball, tennis, and golf. I've recently begun to play the guitar. I'm finally starting to play it half way decently!
As for this page, well, I finally got around to making some modifications to
it. There is a lot more that I'd like to do to it, but it's a matter of
getting the time to do it. So for the time being this is what you get!
